Threshold is our contemporary artspace in Perth Concert Hall foyer. It's unique in Scotland and one of only a handful of new media artspaces in Europe. We have now extended Threshold to the walls of Redrooms at Perth Theatre.
Threshold will interact with you from the moment you walk through the doors, that's the Threshold Welcome. Inside you'll see an ever-changing canvas of images projected on a bank of screens, the Threshold Wave and on a huge wall, the Threshold Stage.
We have a rolling programme of international work and other talks and events and are gradually building a collection of work that features throughout the year. We also have limited edition prints for sale under our 'Collect + Support' scheme.

Voyage of No Return Ergin Cavusoglu
curated by Iliyana Nedkova
Jan / Feb 09
Threshold artspace | Perth Concert Hall
Join us for this first solo show in the artspace – an introspective by Ergin Cavusoglu – the artist who represented Turkey at the Venice Biennale 2003 dubbed the ‘Olympics of the Arts’. Voyage of No Return features a major new commission – a multi-channel video art installation shot on the port of Oban and inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, as well as Marcel Broodthaers’ film Un Voyage en Mer du Nord. Also showing is a selection of the artist’s earlier films and videos.
In partnership with Argos | Brussels | Kunstverein Freiburg and Haunch of Venison, London and Zurich.
